Hier al langere tijd als sierboom aangeplant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>De JUDASBOOM<\/strong> = <strong>Cercis Siliquastrum<\/strong> is een breedgroeiende, bladverliezende boom of struik (2 tot 7 meter), die maar langzaam groeit en in het voorjaar (april, mei) voordat het blad verschijnt uitbundig bloeit met trosjes violette of roze vlinderbloemige bloemen.\u00a0 Omdat de boom een penwortel vormt is het niet raadzaam (en haalbaar) de boom op oudere leeftijd te herplanten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" src=\"http:\/\/www.boom-wijsheid.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Judasboom-bloesem.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-851\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.boom-wijsheid.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Judasboom-bloesem.jpg 600w, http:\/\/www.boom-wijsheid.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Judasboom-bloesem-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.boom-wijsheid.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Judasboom-bloesem-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.boom-wijsheid.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Judasboom-bloesem-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Heeft een zonnige, warme plantplek nodig met bij voorkeur een licht, maar kalkrijke bodem. Kan zeker als jonge boom niet tegen erg stevige langdurige vorst.\u00a0 Is geschikt om op een zuidmuur als gevelplant te leiden. Niet planten tussen bestrating, heeft een brede boomcirkel met bodem begroeiing nodig. Kan goed tegen droogte en kan dankzij de lange penwortel diep uit de grond water halen. Bloesem en peulen eetbaar.
